So, you guys--does this new color scheme make you wince?

List of links coming soon...I finally figured out how to do it, and found my old list.

*sporfle* That's a response I wasn't expecting, cause I saw this as shades of brown, but I see your point. Oh dear.

*tilts head* I guess it could be shades of brown. But "coffee-y" does not roll off the tongue, and is not as fun to say as "sherbety". And hey, nothing wrong with orange! These shades (which really are just as close to brown as to orange, it's just the link text that kind of pushes it further toward orange territory) are easy on the eyes and nicely warm. I like!

How weird, at work there was definitely more red, hence the 'peachy', but now it's khaki and mocha.

I find this scheme to be very pumpkin-esque and autumnal.

Which reminds me, I'm gonna need to change my own from the summer poppy to something more in keeping with the harvest season.

Hmmm. Too seasonal? I mean, to keep as a default?

No, it isn't too seasonal. If it was deliberately Autumn then I would have thought it would have more shades of orange and red as well as brown. As it is, the paler creamier colours just make it soothing brownish.

Oh good. I rather like it. We'll see if I like it as much tomorrow.

No, no. It's not *overly* seasonal. If it were, it would have, like, leaves and acorns and maze and jack-o'-lanterns and scarecrows (and I canNOT believe I have to wait another week for SciFi to finish up the Dr. Who ep. That's just not right) and such.

As it is, I find it nice and soothing and kinda comforting in an autumnal, pumpkin-esque kind of way. (Remember, this is coming from someone who loves pumpkin . . . pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin cookies . . . even pumpkin soup isn't to bad, though it does take some getting used to . . . )
