|03:38 pm - Halloween draws closer|
And there will be a party tonight, costumes required. I've managed to find items that at least roughly correspond to the outfit Kaylee is wearing the pilot episode of Firefly, when she sits outside the ship and collects passengers, including Book.
Yay! Gotta go alter a collar and make sure everything works together okay.
Maybe I'll post a pic sometime next week.
Current Mood: determined
I want pictures! That's such a fun sounding costume! I love how you get all dressed up on Halloween. I wonder if I was down in So-Cal, what I'd be dressed as this year with you guys...hmm...
You know I'd be pestering you to be River--Dan Schulz is going as Mal, so we'd be a properly matched set. :-)
I'd have to get a wig to do that...but it'd so ROCK! :)
Yeah, it would! If you come to ComiCon, I'm going to insist that you get a River constume. :-)
This just demonstrates how much Australia doesn't celebrate Halloween; I'd completely forgotten about it, and was looking forward to the public holiday on the 1st (Melbourne Cup Day is the first Tuesday in November).
LOL. Well, we don't get a public holiday of any kind at this point, so lucky you. :-) We just get to dress up oddly.
Oh, I do believe it still gets celebrated here, in strange places like American Air Bases... 8-P
I was trying to throw together a Cheney costume the other night. No success. So instead, I threw together a Jayne costume. Absolutely no one knew who or what I was supposed to be. But it was fun. Especially the plastic nerf gun strapped to my side.
