|12:49 pm - Fans of the original Star Wars trilogy rejoice!|
This article was waiting for me in an email from a friend this morning, and kalqessa thoughtfully had the link on her journal a few minutes later.
As a fan of the original Star Wars trilogy since the tender age of five (when I was first inspired to keep my hair long like Princess Leia), I long ago gave up hope that the un-"corrected" versions of the films would ever be released on DVD.
Sometimes, it is sweet to be wrong.
Even if Lucas is just doing it for the $$$ (we all know he is). I don't care; I get my un-tampered-with Star Wars. I'm happy.
Current Mood: giddy
Hee. My brother and I played at being Luke and Leia for hours when we were kids. Mom would even obligingly put my hair up in an approximation of the cinnamon buns. Ah, those were the days...
I'm a bit miffed because I just broke down and bought the DVDs last month. I could've held out until September to get the originals.

I actually just found a copy of Theatrical!ANH on VHS, complete with Hye-larious early 90's Sci-Fi Channel commercials. And it was good.
