I'm going to try and be proactive.
Is there any such thing as a manual (print or computer file/disc) for the newest version of Excel? I don't mean just in existence, but available to download or purchase somewhere.
I find Excel an annoying program, never took a class in how to use it, and even its Help menu is maddeningly user unfriendly. When I spend 40 minutes trying to get the program to tell me how to do something I need to do in a spreadsheet for a work project, and end up still not having a clue, that's a problem.
Maybe I'm just stupid that way.
OR MAYBE IF I HAD A MANUAL OR TUTORIAL, I'D ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO DO MY JOB.
Anyone?
[ETA: I have discovered, in the Help thingy, no less, that there is a book called Excel 2007 Step By Step. I am considering investing, but will look around online first. Too bad I doubt I could get my work to cover the purchase.]
