Looking for film recommendations

I've noticed that there seems to be a dearth of films talking about or based around platonic friendship. And yet these are the stories I am most interested in!

So, I'm asking you, flist, for the names of any films you've seen that have interesting or excellent portrayals of platonic friendship. Genre, gender, or country of origin is irrelevant, although I'm less likely to watch a film with a lot of explicit sexuality (even if the focus relationship--or one of them--is platonic).

(I would be grateful for movies about female friendships, as they seem rarer.)

I've enjoyed equally, though for different reasons, Dead Poets Society, Stand By Me, the Lethal Weapon movies, Reign Over Me, and The Fox and the Hound. :-)
