1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his [a] ;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Psalm 100
--How much I have grown and changed in the past year. I don't know how visible it is to others, but I am so thankful that God reaches back to me when I reach out to Him, and lifts me out of myself.
--My family, whom I am driving 8 hours to see tomorrow. I love them so much, and really, I don't think I could have asked for better parents.
--My old friends, those who know me best, most of whom are far away. *sends hugs*
--My new friends (waves to
--That I have now been told by a good man that he loves me. (Sorry, no details; but for that moment alone I am utterly grateful.)
--For my DVR. *g*
--For used bookstores and bookstore purchasing credit!
--For the internet and for email, keeping me connected with the ones I love.
--For everyone who reads my fan fiction, especially those who take the time to tell me so. *hearts you all, especially
--For my writer's group, and my betas
--For my health, which is so good, despite a scare earlier this year. God has blessed me far beyond what I deserve, I know that.
--For the sharing of stories, mine and others, fiction and not, books and TV; for the sharing of thoughts and words and images and character (and pretty faces like Jensen Ackles--hey, this is my thanksgiving post and I can thank God for making beautiful men, can't I?).
--For those who listen, and who allow me to listen to them, and hear them.
--For the house I live in with my 3 human roommates and two feline ones.
--For my mind, my ability to think and articulate; for my heart, my ability to feel and empathize. For myself. For who God is making me. May it only continue.
May today be a blessed one for you all, even those who are only having a regular day today, work and all. Peace and grace to you.
