 | 01:25 pm - I need a "tired" icon Worst thing about being sick: the week or so afterwards when just doing normal stuff exhausts one.
Seriously. I wanted to get some more writing done this week, and while I've done a bit ( mistraltoes, I may need a Numb3rs beta in a week or two here), I could have done a lot more. At least I have an excuse of sorts, I suppose. *g*
[Also: how lame am I? Took me half an hour to screw up my courage to call the main Paramount switchboard looking for a particular contact's number. The actual call was utterly painless, resulted in another number to call, and took like 90 seconds if that. I gotta learn not to mind making calls. There's no point. Honestly, self, WTF?] Current Mood: tired

I hope that the tiredness will soon vanish.
If it's any consolation, I too hate making phone calls to people that I don't know, and have to screw up my courage. Heh. It's just a weird thing, the phone calls. Maybe if I do it enough, I'll at least start to be less twitchy about it. I've been like that with EVERYTHING lately. Seriously, it's like "WAH! I have to WASH this PLATE! It's JUST TOO HARD!"
BTW, see you Sat at Natalie's birthday party :) I've been like that with EVERYTHING lately. Seriously, it's like "WAH! I have to WASH this PLATE! It's JUST TOO HARD!"
Aw! *hugs u* Hey, we should get coffee sometime or do dinner or something. Or see a movie. Anything you wanna see, but haven't yet? Or...ooo. Whatcha doing next weekend? Some of my friends (possibly including Natalie) are all going together to see "Cloverfield." I'm sure nobody would mind if you came along--if you haven't anything better to do, of course. :-)
And yes, see you Sat! Natalie asked me via e-mail. I'm sort of undecided, as I'm afraid all the handheld shaky shooting would make me throw up on someone :/ But I do want to see the movie. Oh, and I still need to see Juno! Maybe a day after work next week? Ooo! I need to see that also! We should make plans. :-) (Which theatre do you like to go to? We do work near each other. Hmmm. Perhaps we should take this to email.) I totally hear you on the post-sickness exhaustion. That's pretty much been my whole week. Bleh.
Also: I told Soupy and the girls that the last ep of N3 Season 3 would make them go "What?!" so what did they do? They immediately took out disc 4 (the one they're currently on), put in disc 6, and watched "The Janus List". Because they're all silly sillyheads. And now they're watching the rest of the episodes and wailing "Colby! Why are you evil! Don't be evil, Colby!" every time he comes on the screen. Ernie claims that she suspected something all along. The rest of us suspect that Ernie is making stuff up. I thought you'd be amused. I also suspect Ernie is totally making stuff up, because DUDE. When Megan (in my fic) says "There were no signs! There should have been, but there weren't!" she's totally channeling me after 2 months of trying to spot the "signs" by rethinking the entire previous 2 seasons.
I can't believe they did that. *facepalm* I do not skip! Why should they? LOL.
Hey, I dreamed about you last night. I was at your place visiting. You made muffins, and they were awesome. Ernie was also in my dream--will that amuse her?
Also! Your Christmas present finally arrived. Now, to get it to you. :-) I'm not sure why they felt they needed to skip ahead just to watch an ep I told them would be confusing and upsetting. They are silly. It was especially funny because apparently they talked through the crucial moment during the reading of the Janus List, so they had no idea what had happened the first time and had to rewind to find out why Don and David were suddenly cuffing Colby.
I love my in-laws. Sometimes in a bemused sort of way, but I love them dearly.
Ha! I made delicious muffins in your subconscious! Yay me! (And yes, Ern will be amused. Curly will probably want to know why she wasn't in the dream, too.) It was especially funny because apparently they talked through the crucial moment during the reading of the Janus List, so they had no idea what had happened the first time and had to rewind to find out why Don and David were suddenly cuffing Colby.
*helpless laughter* Oh, dear. OH dear.
Yeah, they were terrific muffins. I kind of want one now. Do you bake? These were lemon-y or something, with glaze on top. Mmmmmm. Curly may have been in the dream; it wasn't *just* you and Ern in the house or whatever, you were just the ones I remember talking. *g* My family is nothing if not entertaining. Hee.
I've actually been experimenting with baking, recently. I shall have to ask my sister for any delicious lemony muffin recipes she might have. *grin* I have burned the first two episodes, Trust Metric and Hollywood Homicide, to DVD for you. I plan to fit two more onto the disc before I send it to you. Hopefully it will play in your player. If not, try the 'puter.
To that end, what is your snail mail addy? You can send it to my LJ e-mail addy?
I should say, the first two eps of Season 4. But you knew that, right? Dude, you rock! Will send addy right now... Er, I tried, but it said that delivery failed. (Oh hi, Izh, excuse me while I use your comments thread for the purpose of acquiring bootleg N3 episodes.) *snicker* I have no problem with this use of my comments. (btw... feliciakw, do you want me to send kalquessa your actual email? It's possible that your LJ mail still forwards to your ameritech addy, unless you changed it when you moved.) Well, I did change it when I moved, because I receive responses to my LJ posts in the actual e-mail. I'm just con-foosed as to how the LJ e-mail works. Huh. My LJ email forwards right to the same email account I use for my notifications. I wonder if there was some other place you needed to change your email settings in LJ? (Dumb LJ. So complicated!) I'm wondering if you have to have a sponsored or paid account to use the e-mail feature. Okay. Send it to bunqui95 at yahoo dot com.
I need a "tired" icon
*cackles madly* Why are you cackling? Because you are also tired and need such an icon? Or because you are making icons?
(Hey, if you wanna try seeing Sweeney Todd again, I'm free Sunday during the daytime.) Can't a girl cackle madly in a somewhat evil manner to herself? *grins*
Actually, you've inspired an icon idea. I might have to get to work on it during my plethora of free time next week (fun with unemployment!).
I'm free Sunday as well :D Sure, you can cackle.
But I will always question it. ;-)
(YAY icons! BOO unemployment!) (mistraltoes, I may need a Numb3rs beta in a week or two here),
Kewl. Guess I'd better fix my E-mail, then. :)
Feel better. E-mail still down? Bummer! I'll try not to rush my rewrite. I finished the rough draft, and some of it (the first 1/3 especially) I really like, but the rest of it needs some reshaping, cause I think the point of the story derailed a bit and I need to yank it back on track.
(Really, my own brain is reading one bit as Megan/Colby, and that just needs to go away. Cause ew no. I was half asleep when I wrote that half page, to be fair to my muse. *g*)
I'm starting to feel better. I think new N3 (in half an hour, whoo!) may also be beneficial. :-) BTW.
When you are not around online (visibly, anyway) I miss you. No guilt, I just wanted to say that. *hugs* |
