This is making me very sad:
Diane Farr Is Leaving Numb3rs
Current Mood: shocked
Am likewise sad. I hate it when people leave programmes.
I noticed that we have some friends and interests in common, so, er, hi!
Hi there! :-) I friended you back, because we certainly do seem to have some interests and friends in common--welcome to my LJ!
Cross your fingers that she'll reconsider? Although if they really have put out a casting call for a replacement....
Oh no! That's way too bad. I liked her loads better than the previous obligatory female agent they had for the first season--can't even recall her name.
I suppose that Liz will be taking her place as prima donna? *sigh
First season profiler was Terry Lake. I liked her okay, and it took me a bit to adjust to Megan, but when I did, I loved her.
I suppose that Liz will be taking her place as prima donna?
Oh, bite your tongue. I was delighted when she left. "Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Liz."
Synopses indicate that Robin Brooks will be back, but of course she's not an FBI agent.
Robin Brooks... I don't remember her.
But whoever they get, I hope it's someone good.
I wonder what thehy're going to do with the Larry/Megan storyline? Will they kill her off or have her "move" like they did with Terry?
Robin Brooks, played by Michelle Nolden, is my fave of Don's love interests. She's an AUSA who originally showed up in . . . the one about the undercover FBI agent that was killed . . . um . . . "The OG," (where she was *not* a love interest) and she appeared again in" Guns & Roses" (which has one of my all-time fave Don flirting scenes). They made regular mention of her early in S3, even to the point where Charlie thought Don was cheating on Robin when Liz showed up. And Liz asks him about his girlfriend, and yet still entices him into her bed.
And re-reading my original reply to you, I didn't mean to sound snippy. :-) I've just never really liked Liz, and when I do like her, Don is nowhere around and she's usually working with Colby.
It's hard telling what they'll do with Megan. It's quite possible, I think, that she'll leave the FBI after her particularly difficult assignment with the DoJ. Or maybe something will happen and she'll decide she needs to move back East to reconnect with her family. However they handle it, it will make me very sad.
And yeah, I hope they get someone good, someone who doesn't end up as a love interest for someone on the team (that was one of my biggest complaints about Liz--the character never felt like a real character to me. She felt like a love interest first and an agent as a plot device).
obin Brooks, played by Michelle Nolden, is my fave of Don's love interests.
Oh yes, now I remember her.
I didn't mean to sound snippy.
Hehe. I know. I actually laughed out loud when I saw your reply, so no worries. I don't care that much about Liz either--rather ambivelent actually. Like you said, she seems just the requisite love interest rather than her own person.
I hope they do Megan justice. *sigh*
Robin = awesome. And I really hope that Liz goes away for good, mostly because I thought she was overused, and only caught my interest when she was, yk, actually doing FBI stuff. If they'd paired her off with Colby, maybe I wouldn't have minded her quite so much.
I hope they do Megan justice. *sigh*
So do I. *double sigh* And I can't quite decide what that would look like; I don't want her to leave Larry, but leaving the FBI would be something plausible for the character at this point; I don't really want them to kill her off, but at least that would (hopefully) preclude her doing anything that would soil her character for me.
