This wouldn't have anything to do with you being from Oregon, now could it? ;-D

Why do you ask? I do know a very good cheese factory on the Oregon coast (in Bandon-by-the-Sea), but don't associate cheese with my home state in particular.

Tillamook! Tillamook! (And their ice cream is very good, too.)

Exactly, Tillamook, the Rolls Royce of cheeses. I dislike sharp cheddar, but have been told Tillamook is the best you can find. I will, however, run a mile for some Tillamook Pepper Jack, tho. :-)

Oh duh. Yes, of course, Tillmook...which even my friends in Canada like to buy. I keep forgetting that's strictly a product of my home state; shows you how well-versed I am in my local marketing data. Heh.

Right, I probably couldn't even tell you what my general area produces, except Jelly Belly jellybeans (I've toured the factory several times) and Aquafina bottled water (I'm constantly surprised at its success, given that it says in clear, no-nonsense letters on the bottle, "Manufactured in Hayward, CA." Anyone who's ever been to Hayward will tell you there is no mountain springs, aquifers, or pure babbling brooks anywhere near. It is a fine place for factories, however. ;-D)

Most sharp cheddar is indeed nasty IMO, but Tillamook sharp is exquisite. As I've grown older, I've decided that life is too short to eat budget cheese.

Cool! Check mine out. It's interesting how our answers compare. :p

Wonderful meme! I always have trouble with 'if I were' kinds of statements, as the first answers that jump to mind are my favorites, which is not necessarily the same thing.

I'm working on mine now. You go do it, too. Then we can point and laugh! :)
