*stands in awe of Cas*
*clings to Sam, loving him more than I have ever loved him before*
I need to watch that again.
Current Mood: ecstatic
I'm pretty much in agreement with all of that. ;)
It was totally awesome, wasn't it? And wow, I was totally unspoiled for the Adam thing. ZOMG. *flails*
You know me, I'm unspoiled in general, and I totally didn't see the Adam thing coming...mainly because I forgot about Adam, but still...;)
But yeah, FANTASTIC episode. I do wonder about Dean though. The whole "only angels can kill angels" thing wouldn't work unless...he's already Michael! *gasp* ;)
What you said. *nods*
I'm not saying much, and I'm not reading much, until I have a chance to re-watch and absorb and cogitate.
However, I will say next week? "Hotel California."
Oh dear. That would require a full recap, probably. Um. Crap. *thinks* You could go read Felicia's recap/thinky post, it hits a lot of the highlights.
But my squee above, in bits: Castiel is utterly badass; Dean is in utter despair and planning to say 'yes' to the archangel Michael, to be Micheal's vessel; and Sam saves Dean not by locking him up or persuading him of anything, but by answering Dean's lack of faith in anyone (vocal lack of faith in Sam specifically, which was a brutal moment) by trusting Dean entirely and taking him along as backup to confront the corrupt angels and rescue another important person. And Dean, facing Sam's faith in him, found new strength and said 'no.'
...that does not even TOUCH how awesome this episode was, especially after the continual wearing-down of everyone all season and the past few episodes particularly.
*is ecstatic over this*
