Fandom pairings meme

Snagged from kerravonsen, with her non-slash addition:

Make a list of all the characters in your icons. (Although you may have more than one icon of a single character, they only go on the list once.) Alphabetize it. Take the first two people on the list; that's your first pairing. Second two people; second pairing. Etc.

I sorted this by surname (though there are a frightening number of folks here we don't know the surname of). And since I don't do slash, the m + m are all ampersanded. I dare ya to write any of these.

Here's mine!

Samuel Beckett/Samantha Carter--wow, talk about your match made in heaven! Both physics geeks, though Beckett's more easy-going. Actually, this is one crossover 'ship I wouldn't mind reading.
Jim Ellison & Samwise Gamgee--I have no idea if they would even get along (though I am having flashbacks to Samwise confronting Faramir). I suppose it would depend on what sort of mission they undertook. I definitely can't imagine a setting in which these two would meet.
Gil Grissom & Xander Harris--They'd fight. But I could actually see them working together, since Xander does know how to let the book-smarts do their job, and Gil values loyalty.
Daniel Jackson & Jack O'Neill--Best buddies, most of the time.
Blair Sandburg/Sha're--Aside from the language barrier, I cannot see Sha're with anyone but Daniel. Although--Sha're certainly would be Sandburg's type. :-)
Siler/Violet--um, this would be once Violet is no longer underage? Heh. Um. Or maybe my left-out icon, Ron Weasley, can pair up with Violet, and Siler can be their chaparone? Yeah, there we go.
