12 Characters Meme, the gen version

My undying gratitude to whoever created this version; the smutty one was highly disturbing. This is just good, fanficcy-potential fun. :-)

The 12 character meme, this time for gen fic.

The list of 12:

1. Claire [LOST]
2. Jack O’Neill [Stargate SG-1]
3. Jadzia Dax [Star Trek: Deep Space Nine]
4. Fox Mulder [X-Files]
5. River Tam [Firefly]
6. Bobby Hobbes [The Invisible Man]
7. Adrian Monk [Monk]
8. Sara Sidle [CSI]
9. Blair Sandburg [The Sentinel]
10. Dot Matrix [ReBoot]
11. Al Calavicci [Quantum Leap]
12. Charlie Eppes [Numb3rs]

Which would make a better college professor, 6 (Bobby Hobbes) or 11 (Al Calavicci)?
Um. Wow. Out of all the intellectuals on my list, this question ends up between those 2. Bobby wouldn't be able to hack the life of a professor, not unless he was teaching, y'know, spy school. Even then... large classrooms? I think not. Al could at least hold students' attention, and he seems to have the smarts to understand a lot of what Sam says, so maybe he'd be better at it.

Do you think 4 (Fox Mulder) is hot? How hot?
Is water wet? Yeah, he's hot. :-) Not as hot as some, but the mouth and those hands and....

12(Charlie Eppes) sends 8(Sara Sidle) on a mission. What is it, and does it succeed?
At least these two both work closely with law enforcement. Charlie is in need of more data with which to calculate the probability that the accident he's currently working on for the FBI was the same as a string of previous accidents. Sara is the CSI he sends back to the scene to go over it again. [ok, I do not need Sara/Charlie fic ideas, no sirree.]

What is or would be 9's(Blair Sandburg's) favorite book?
Um, whatever that Burton book on Sentinels was called. :-) Easy one!

Would it make more sense for 2(Jack O'Neill) to swear fealty to 6(Bobby Hobbes), or the other way around?
Once Bobby was satisfied that O'Neill was a good soldier and an honorable man, just try stopping him from swearing fealty!

For some reason, 5(River Tam) is looking for a roommate. Should 5(she) share a studio apartment with 9(Blair Sandburg) or with 10(Dot Matrix)?
Aside from the fact that rooming with River is a scary proposition, I'm torn. There are good reasons not to put River with a guy like Blair; and yet, he's honorable when he needs to be and I have a feeling he'd want to figure out if she's a Sentinel or not. Dot would be a very solid roommate for River to have, but she might not know how to deal with her. *looks at question again* Oh, it's a studio. Dot, then.

7(Adrian Monk), 2(Jack O'Neill), and 12(Charlie Eppes) have dinner together. Where do they go, and what do they discuss?
A very nice, quiet, clean restaurant (because Adrian couldn't handle the steakhouse that Jack first suggested). I have no idea what they would discuss (Adrian's so OCD, Charlie's one of Jack's "hated" geek-types who can't stop talking in equations, and Jack is...Jack), unless it might the dangers of falling in love with beautiful, smart co-workers. Or maybe it's a grief-support-group thing.

3(Jadzia Dax) challenges 10(Dot Matrix) to a duel. What happens?
I can actually see this happening. Although if we're going to be canon-consistant, it would probably be in a game, with Jadzia as the User, and Dot trying to defend Mainframe. Jadzia goes for a persona that prefers bladed weapons, and Dot is forced to match her. Unless this is Jadzia's first time with this particular game, she'd probably win, nullifying Dot. Urg.

I know. It's all a plot, and they both figure it out during the duel and find a way to sabotage the game....

If 1(Claire) stole 8(Sara Sidle's) most precious possession, how would 8(Sara) get it back?
*dies* I already have a xover idea where Sara was on Flight 815 when it crashed. In that scenario, her most precious possession would be a picture of someone she loves, stuck in her purse, which survived the crash. Sara would probably just go and take it back.

Suggest a title for a story in which 7(Adrian Monk) and 12(Charles Eppes) both attain what they most desire.
"The Unsolved Solution" [I suck at titles, okay?]

What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted 4(Fox Mulder) and 1(Claire) to work together?
Um. Mulder gets wind of something freaky going on where Flight 815 vanished, goes to check it out, and winds up on the island--which is, after all, a perfect X-file. Particularly when one consider's Claire's baby boy....

If 7(Adrian Monk) visited you for the weekend, how would you get along?
Well, for one thing, Adrian would HATE my messy house. We'd have to go other places that were less cluttered. We could probably talk about a few things--poetry, maybe, or the logistic details of crime-solving. All in all, though, he'd probably be miserable and I would be rather relieved when he finally left.

If you could command 3(Jadzia Dax) to perform any one task or service for you, what would it be?
DO NOT DIE! Um, all right, I don't suppose that counts. How about, tell me a story about what it's like to go from being unjoined to being joined.

Does anyone on your friends list write or draw 11(Al Calavicci)?
Heh. I know fernwithy used to write Al, but I'm not sure if any of my other friends do.

If 2(Jack O'Neill) had to choose sides between 4(Fox Mulder) and 5(River Tam), which would it be?
Bwah. He'd proabably choose Mulder, though Mulder would probably drive him crazy. Only because River actually IS crazy.

What might 10(Dot Matrix) shout while charging into battle?
O_O Um. "Mainframe!" maybe, or "Enzo!"

If you chose a song to represent 8(Sara Sidle), which song would you choose?
I hate these. How about "Grey Street," Dave Matthews?

1(Claire), 6(Bobby Hobbes), and 12(Charlie Eppes) are having dim sum at a Chinese restaurant. There is only one scallion pancake left, and they all reach for it at the same time. Who gets to eat it?
Claire. Because Charlie and Bobby are both far too polite to not let the young pregnant lady eat the last one. Even if she tried to decline I'm not sure they'd let her! :-)

What might be a good pick-up line for 2(Jack O'Neill) to use on 10(Dot Matrix)?
Oh geez, I hate trying to create pick-up lines for guys like Jack. "You have beautiful eyes" might actually work, though.

What would 5(River Tam) most likely be arrested for?
Evading Federal custody.

What is 6's(Bobby Hobbes') secret?
His professional one? That he's partnered with the world's only invisible man.
His personal one? That he's head-over-heels in love with his co-worker, Claire Keeply. But Bobby Hobbes doesn't fish off the company pier, no sir.

If 11(Al Calavicci) and 9(Blair Sandburg) were racing to a destination, who would get there first?
Al, if it were long distance, because he's a admiral with connections AND he actually has a reliable sense of direction. Blair, if it were local, because I have a feeling that he knows Cascade like the back of his hand.

3(Jadzia Dax) and 7(Adrian Monk) tell conflicting versions of events. Which is more reliable?
Adrian. I'm not sure he CAN lie. I'd probably believe Jadzia, too, but she's more likely to obfusticate personal details or skim over things.

"1 and 9 reluctantly team up to save the world from the threat posed by 4's sinister secret organization. 11 volunteers to help them, but it is later discovered that 11 is actually a spy for 4. Meanwhile, 4 has kidnapped 12 in an attempt to force their surrender. Following the wise advice of 5, they seek out 3, who gives them what they need to complete their quest." What title would you give this fic? Name three people on your friends list who might read it. Name one person who should write it.

Hahahahaha....wow. Talk about crossover weirdness. If anyone can think of a way to make this work, I'll, I'll...eat my laptop.

Title: "The Meek Shall Inherit the Earth"

I suppose kerravonsen, mistraltoes, and seer_cordy might read this. Or try to, anyway.

NO idea who should write it. None.

If you had to walk home through a bad neighbourhood late at night, would you feel safer in the company of 7(Adrian Monk) or 8(Sara Sidle)?
Lordy. Not much to choose from, there. Probably Sara, because I bet you she knows her self-defence tactics.

Well, that was fun.
