Aren't most (or all) of the Virgin New Adventures Doctor Who novels out of print? And given that fact (and the fact that I checked my local new-books bookstore and found only a couple of 8th-Doctor novels), wouldn't it make sense to look for such novels at my closest-and-best-stocked used bookstore?

Hmph. They had a whole shelf of Who, but they were slim little things with familiar titles--apparently episode novelizations? I haven't seen that done for any show except Original Star Trek.

I was hoping to find something good to read this weekend, as I shall be absent from my TV and computer. *sigh*

Anyone got recommendations from the more recent novels (authors who are good, etc? since I can't find any by Cornell, Orman, Blum, Parkin, etc...)?
